day 2

This is on my way to work, it's a nice old building, it's not the Port of London Authority any more but it has the building equivalent of a tattoo and so will be called the Port of London Authority building until it is (probably) torn down to make way for cross rail or 'accidently' and irreparably structurally damaged during the building of Cross Rail or what ever the next Pharaoh of London's fantasic idea for a mausoleum is.

The Port's authority stretches for a length of around 95 miles (150 km) starting at an obelisk just downstream of Teddington Lock (upstream) to between Margate to the south and Clacton-on-Sea to the north, where the river joins the North Sea.

Interest nein? To me it means that I'm about 7 minutes depending on the traffic lights to work and either the begining or the end of another day at the office-keeping the pleasue/pain balance in check every day.
